Plattsburgh Crafters and Farmers Market Location & Downtown Plattsburgh
Organizers: Earth Week Network Committee

INFORMATION/EDUCATION - Plattsburgh Community Garden / SUNY Environmental Action Committee / Local Farms / Others
Some members of the Crafters and Farmer's Market will also attend.

CLOTHING SWAP - Bring clothing you don't want - take home someone's unwanted clothing


Earth Week Parade will conclude at this event.

A one day event to take place during Earth Week to celebrate the intent of Earth Day, especially the importance of a strong, caring and sustaining local community. (see goals)

    *Location
    >PEGGY M. has submitted application to have the event downtown in the pavilion where the Plattsburgh Crafters and Farmers Market is held starting in May.
    >Paul and Peggy will be talking to Pat Parker to see if any of the usual participants of the Farmer's Market will participate this day.
    >Other people need to be invited to participate and have a table. The Community Gardens has asked for a table/space.

    *Parade:
    >Will conclude here by 4 pm
    A pot luck food celebration / coffee house is planned that evening at the coop.

    *Music:
    Natalie Ward - Who else?
    Someone is checking with Lucid and others (Heather?)
    >Paul will talk to Shawn P. - Drum Circle?
    *What Equipment is needed?

    *Food: Contact local CSA and Farmers Market
    Concessions and Cooperative Extension.
    >Paul will talk to Cooperative Extention

    *Celebration of Cultures - who, how?

    *Dance? Set up and needs? (Kim and Cathryn?)

    *Art Walk: Paul talked to Chris of ADK Soup - Chris will talk with Carol of Iris' and others to see about having it that day.

    *Sign - Cathryn is making sign for Go Local! campaign but we need a sign for this one day event and parade.
