*Encouraging existing and newly formed Neighborhood Associations/Organizations to participate in the Local Earth Week Celebration by organizing clean up days and other activities. (A great opportunity for children to directly organize community service and for schools to support service.)
*Neighborhood communities are encouraged to join the larger communication network so as to continue their participation throughout the year.
*Sunday April 19th, 12-1:30 pm - Downtown Business Clean Up. Everyone is welcome. Meet at the Durkee Street parking lot.
*Wednesday April 22 - The Adirondack Mt. Club will host a clean up of the monuments downtown. Everyone is welcome - for more information call Jim and Anne Bailey at 563-5794.
*Saturday, May 2, The Annual Downtown Clean Up. For more information contact Pat Ostrander at 561-5904.
*The River Walk clean up and planting takes place this month - contact Jann Shambo for more information.
